Akshay’s Special surprise for Sajid

Sajid Nadiadwala had planned a big bash on his birthday with his friends and family this year. But following the shocking incident in Pulwama where several Indian soldiers lost their lives, the ace filmmaker decided to cancel all his plans.

“He had sent a strong diktat to the entire office that he doesn’t want any kind of birthday celebrations,” says a member of his team. But it was good friend Akshay Kumar who paid him a surprise visit.

“Akshay got to know that Sajid was in office and he went over to spend some quiet time with his producer-buddy. They chatted for hours,” added the source.

Akki and Sajid go a long way and are extremely close friends. In fact, they both call each other by the same name — Sundi. They have not only collaborated on several successful films but also happen to be neighbours in Juhu.
